Worker-Owner-Member 

The Worker-Owner Membership Plan is anyone who is interested in becoming an active worker and owner of WWN Co-op. Worker-Owner Members are responsible for the leadership, management and day-to-day operations of WWN Co-op. Each Worker-Owner Member has one membership share and one voting right. They are eligible to be elected on the Board of Directors.

Worker-Owner-Members invest a one-time capital contribution of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), either paid in full or in 12 equal instalments. Thereafter, Worker-Owners can make additional capital contributions in minimum increments of $1,000 during any capital contribution call by WWN Co-op. Worker-Owner Members receive interest payments on their capital contributions.

Co-operative Ownership & Democratic Control

As a Worker-Owner Member, you are an equal owner of the Co-operative, sharing the rewards, risks and surpluses. You are responsible for the leadership, management and day-to-day operations of WWN Co-op. You have full agency & control over your resources & economic model.

Participatory Leadership & Governance

Leadership structure is distributed and non-hierarchal. Each Worker-Owner Member has one membership share and one voting right, and participates equally in all decision making processes of WWN Co-op. You are eligible to be elected on the Board of Directors.

These include members' enterprises, real estate (affordable housing projects), other traditional & alternative investments –Stocks, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS), Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Private Lending, Insurance Solutions as asset classes.

Access to Non-Dilutive Capital & Resources

As a Worker-Owner Member, you have access to various coaching programs and resources at a discounted rate, and an opportunity to participate in WWN’s ROSCAs and receive zero interest Matching Funding up to $25K. You are eligible for loans, peer support, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Funding, from fellow worker-Owner Members at a low interest rate.
